Yup.
Welcome back to Nerds Without Pants! Julian is in a weird place with time, since he has continued to upload our old episodes to YouTube, so it’s hard to even say what we did this week. Pretty sure we talked about stuff, though!

We love hearing from you.
Welcome back to a very different episode of Nerds Without Pants! Why different? Because this time we’re turning the camera onto our lovely listeners to learn how they have been coping during the Backstreet Boys Reunion Tour. We also get a lot of game talk in before having a Star Wars mirror match in the cage.

Those affected by the problems during UFC 141 will get the event for free.
The Xbox 360's inaugural event for its new UFC app didn't go so well. UFC 141 was plagued with issues and connection problems. To rectify this, as a good will gesture, Microsoft will offer this Saturday's Pay-Per-View fight, UFC RIO: Aldo vs. Mendes, for free over Xbox Live.
Technical issues plagued the broadcast.
UFC 141 was supposed to be the first major broadcast of the new UFC on Xbox app that was released last month. Microsoft, as a promotion, gave away 30,000 coupons so people could watch it for free. However, the event was plagued by technical issues and sporadic broadcasts.
Dailymotion and VUDU also available to download.
Major Nelson posted a blog today announcing the release of several new apps available on Xbox Live. As part of a continuing effort to build the console into a multimedia center, Microsoft has now released UFC on Xbox Live. This new app will allow users to watch UFC matches on their Xbox 360 in full HD.
Watching dudes beating the crap out of each other on the 360 will have to wait a bit longer.
The UFC on Xbox Live app will be released on December 20, a delay of three weeks from the previously announced date. The app will allow Xbox Live members to watch UFC pay-per-view events, use Kinect to control playback and communicate with other viewers on your friends list if you have a Gold membership.
The various services will continue to bolster Microsoft's Xbox Live offering, as will the interactive UFC Xbox Live integration.
Aside from games, Microsoft set out today to demonstrate that the Xbox 360 is more than just a gaming machine. Similar to what they did during last year's press conference, the company announced a number of new services, as well as a brand new interface for the Xbox 360 to tie it all together. YouTube, Bing, and live TV were all touted as new features due out alongside the New Xbox Experience this fall.
