Step 1: Talk about video games. Step 2: ??? Step 3: Profit!
Hey there, folks. Julian here. So, I've been going through a lot of personal stuff for the past, oh, year or so, and it's starting to come to a head. What that means for you is we don't have a topic this week because I was too frazzled to come up with one. However, my pain may become your pleasure, because somehow we managed to have a two hour show with a ton of different little discussions that turned out pretty well.
Sony's new "LittleBigConsole" could be great — with the right touchscreen alternative and more exclusive software
Sony’s pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference Monday offered a glimpse into the Vita’s future. We learned about new hardware with a 20 percent thinner and 15 percent lighter design, extended battery life, and six color options. We also learned about several new games in development. One second, they give out actual awards at the VGAs?!?
We may be a day late, but this episode of Push Start to Continue is certainly not lacking in the dollars and cents. The long rumored service seems to be in limbo for now.
We've been hearing rumors about Microsoft's plans to offer TV service through the Xbox 360 for a while now. However, it appears that those plans have been put on hold. Reuters is reporting that according to "people familiar with the discussions," Microsoft is currently stuck in a holding pattern.
YouTube and TV providers missing the update's launch.
The big Xbox 360 fall dashboard update is finally coming out tomorrow and I personally blame my OCD tendencies for being so excited for it. Announced this year at E3 2011, the update includes Bing searching, YouTube, Live TV and EPIX, among other features. A UFC app was also announced but we know that it's been delayed to December 20 instead of its original date of December 1. Now it seems that the dashboard update will be missing a lot of the announced apps, at least at launch.
