Microsoft held their E3 2012 conference this morning and many game announcements were made. These include two new Kinect games, something new from Twisted Pixel, Kinect functionality in two EA sports titles, and more.
The action-heavy sequel to Conviction is coming in spring 2013.
During Microsoft's E3 Press Conference, Ubisoft pulled the cover off of their latest endeavor in the Splinter Cell series, Blacklist. Once again featuring Sam Fisher, players will find themselves embroiled in a Middle Eastern conflict, wherein Sam is in control of an operative group. The title, which is only known to be coming to the Xbox 360 at this time (though likely coming to other systems as well) will be available spring 2013.

While people have speculated on Internet Explorer support being added to the Xbox 360, only recently has a rumor surfaced that brings any credibility to the discussion. While we don’t have news of an integration plan, or an official announcement from Microsoft, it seems that IE’s appearance on your 360 dashboard is imminent.

It’s no secret that Mass Effect 3 is going to take advantage of the 360’s Kinect voice recognition feature, but it’s yet to be seen if the addition will add or detract from the experience. In either case, the fine folks at BioWare have released a cheat sheet that displays the voice commands and how they are applied. Kinect Star Wars was delayed from its release date last holiday, as was the limited edition Star Wars Xbox 360 bundle. No word on when gamers will see the title was announced but now a new release date has been confirmed.
