Revelations 3DS Demo Has Play Limit

Think you can play that demo as many times as you want? Think again.

Today Nintendo gave fans a taste of Resident Evil: Revelations via the first downloadable demo in the 3DS’ short lifespan.  The first of multiple demos that also include ones for Rayman Origins and Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D, this will be the first time that many gamers are treated to what a portable Resident Evil will offer in 3D.  But like all good things, this demo won’t last forever and is far more limited than you may expect.

Rumor: Viral Website Teasing Resident Evil 6?

Various pictures and videos possibly teasing new entry in the main series.

IGN is reporting that a strange website might be hinting at a new game in the Resident Evil series. Several photos and videos featuring graffitied walls and billboards have appeared at nohopeleft.com. A Biohazard symbol can be seen in some of the photos, as well as in one of the blog posts. Biohazard is the name of the Resident Evil series in Japan.

Game Informer Reveals South Park: The Game

A full scale RPG from THQ and Obsidian is on the way.

South Park has had a storied history in gaming. Back on the N64, PlayStation, and PC, Iguana Entertainment brought fans a first person shooter that carried some of the charm that made the show a hit. Later, it was followed by a racing game, South Park Rally, and a trivia game, Chef's Luv Shack. After that, the IP went dormant until Let's Go Tower Defense Play on XBLA, which is still to be followed by a four player, co-op platformer. While these small downloadable games are making a splash with players, they pale in comparison to what THQ and Obsidian have announced to be bringing to the market.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Review

New controls, new structure, and new enemies help define this series changing game.

“Hey, listen!” Apparently someone at Nintendo got the message. After the release of Twilight Princess, universally, fans were begging for change. While Nintendo seemingly gave their audience everything they ever wanted with the Wii’s first title and the GameCube’s last hurrah, they still weren’t happy. They wanted a reinvention; they wanted something new, something fresh. Well there’s little question about it, Skyward Sword is absolutely the answer to the fans. Though not something wholly new, Link’s latest adventure manages to shake things up enough to make them fresh.

Tropico 4 Review

El Presidente would fire the UI designers - if he could find the menu to do it.

I have some amazing memories of construction/simulation heavy games, like Sim City 2000 and Dawn of Discovery. When done right, games in this genre are absolutely captivating. Tropico 4 comes extremely close to hitting the nail on the head, but stumbles in its implementation.
