Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions Review

Four Spider-Men are better than one.

It seems that each and every year a new Spider-Man game is released, and every year that Spider-Man game seems to be a disappointment. My last exposure to a Spider-Man game was Spider-Man 2, which featured open-world exploration and tasks. The game controlled well and was moderately enjoyable, but the structure was a bit too loose, causing the game to eventually become tedious and boring. Shattered Dimensions, the latest Spider-Man game, is quite the opposite. For the first time ever, the essence of Spider-Man has truly been captured through the game's characters, levels, presentation, and solid gameplay.

Twisted Metal Hands On Preview

Twisted Metal is back and it looks better than ever.

In my opinion, Sony's biggest surprise of E3 was the reveal of Twisted Metal for the PlayStation 3. I've enjoyed the series in the past, and a new entry in the series is quite welcome as it has been dormant for far too long.

Mass Effect 2 Review

A little more action, a little less RPG, a lot of awesome.

Mass Effect 2, the appropriately titled sequel to Mass Effect for the Xbox 360 is an excellent game and is a marked improvement, at the very least in the gameplay department, over its predecessor. In the game you continue your role as Commander Shepherd; Human Alliance soldier, Council Specter and all around badass who’s on a quest to save the galaxy.

Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga Review

This "action-RPG" includes more running and standing around than action.

Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga is the third iteration of the Valhalla Knights series, which up until now, have lived solely on the PSP. Each entry in the series is a part of the action-RPG genre featuring a mission-based structure. Eldar Saga falls in line with its predecessor but now features a seamless battle system that occurs in realtime.

Heavy On the Chic, Still on the Geek

A dozen or so fashion styles that keep trends just as much in line as geeky interests.

Everyone loves clothing, especially nice clothes, which help you feel good, get a job, and impress your girlfriend's family. But what people love most about clothes is using them as an outlet of self-expression. I've worn every type of clothing a girl could possibly wear, from frilly dresses in my youngest days to large men's tees from Hot Topic in my young teens. Nowadays I try to balance my two inner-mes out between self-expressionist and old band tees and trendy designer dressings and ankle boots (which I've only worn twice, I won't lie!!). Clothing is actually how I met my one true love as well, as I bumped face first into Neal's Super Mario Bros. tee. Let's face it – clothes are important for almost every aspect of life.
