Slide Pad Love: Why It’s a Big Deal

Wait, they are calling it the Circle Pad now? Well that’s just lame.

I could list all the 3DS features, but that would seem just silly; I am not a PR machine. March 27th is soon upon us all, and we will all have the 3DS in our grasp. Will I be ready to handle a brand new Nintendo handheld system? While it will take a bit for me to experience the 3D aspect (since Nintendo of Canada hasn’t bothered to release any 3DS tour information yet), it will be yet another handheld cycle for me to go through, and I’m looking forward to it.

Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs 3D Preview

Step your little foot into this land before time, a time full of carnage.

The Combat of Giants series in a nutshell consists of a gathering of whatever enormous creatures man can muster up and then pitting them against each other to the death. These games have been historically based on dragons, mutant insects, or in the case of this game, dinosaurs. But for the first time ever, Ubisoft Montreal is bringing all the carnage and frenzy into eye popping 3D.

What could this quote from Nintendo's latest press release mean?

"Other Nintendo 3DS games in the works for 2011 from Nintendo include The Legend of Zelda™: Ocarina of Time™ 3D, Star Fox 64™ 3D, Kid Icarus™: Uprising and new installments in the Mario Kart™ series."
