It’s been a long week, I must admit, but now that we’re at the end of it I get to spend some time writing my favorite bi-weekly column. Konami announced today that Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will also be released in a limited edition for both the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. The limited edition of the game will include a 248 page artbook and specialized packaging created by Yoji Shinkawa, the series' lead artist.

Konami is rebuilding Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater from the ground up with a few modern additions, like achievements/trophies and updated button configurations. They will also have icons, sound effects, and fonts upgraded to HD, plus a frame rate locked at a steady 60 frames per second.
A mysterious tweet from Hideo Kojima reveals what might be the next Zone of the Enders title.
Yesterday, Hideo Kojima posted a mysterious tweet that depicted an image with a Jehuty Orbital Frame and a logo for what appears to be Zone of the Enders 3DS. The acronym representing the game, ZOE, is shown with its direct mirror to the right, which closely resembles 3DS.
The arcade classic is being recreated in 3D, with a slew of new features and updates.
Some games just get better with 3D, or at least that's what Korean developer, Barunson Interactive hopes. The team has announced that they are currently developing a 3D update of Double Dragon II: The Revenge, for Xbox Live Arcade, known now as Double Dragon II: Wander of the Dragons.
