Otomedius Excellent Review

No lions, tigers, or bears here, but we're definitely not in Kansas anymore.

Imagine a world where schools are secretly facilities to train kids to become fighter pilots. There is an underground spy at the school masquerading as a science professor. The fate of the world is at hand! Does any of this matter? Oh no it doesn't. Skimpy clothes on teenage anime girls, bullets, bullets, and more bullets, along with several boss fights define Otomedius Excellent.

GamePro is Coming to an End

A recent shift to quarterly printings and an online focus wasn’t enough to save the long-running gaming publication.

After more than twenty years of providing gaming news, reviews, and ProTips, GamePro has printed its last issue.  After shifting to a quarterly printing schedule earlier in the year to try and save the publication, GamePro still wasn't able to make the magazine last.  In addition, the gamepro.com website will cease to exist in its current form after December 5th

Vita to Possibly Support Multiple Tiered Pricing

Sony takes a long hard look at the mobile market and comes to the conclusion that change is necessary.

With the dawning of DLC updates, digital distribution and cheap mobile and iOS gaming experiences the long accepted concept of a fixed price structure for video games has come under fierce scrutiny. This is particularly true in the handheld sector, which is arguably starting to feel the sting of the free and $5 game apps that are muscling into territory long unchallenged.

Dead Island Review

This game craves brains because it clearly has none.

Battlefield 3 Review

Battlefield 3 escapes its single player experiment.

Is Jesus your co-pilot?  I sure hope so, ‘cause you’re better off with a 2,000 year old carpenter at those helicopter controls than me.  Despite my inability to steer the helicopters, I’m still having a blast in Battlefield 3’s multiplayer.  The vestigial single player campaign aped from Call of Duty is a different story.  But nobody’s buying this game for the single player, and they shouldn’t.  Battlefield games mean multiplayer and this installment should make all couch commandos giddy.
