Either shooters have gotten harder or I have gotten worse; my ego is going to go with the former.

Let’s get this out of the way: Hard Corps: Uprising by Arc System Works is hard -- unapologetically hard. All I could think every time I died was that they should have called it Impossible Corps, which made me think of that awful “This is not mission difficult” quote from Mission Impossible II which only made me angrier. Konami, Hudson Join Forces

Will this lead to Bomberman-Metal Gear crossovers in the future?

Andriasang has translated a Japanese press release announcing that Konami will be completely buying up Hudsonsoft. Previously, Konami owned over 50% of Hudson. This transaction means that Konami will own Hudsonsoft in its entirety. While matters like company name changes and merging business operations are still being worked out, Konami has decided to replace Hudson CEO Michihiro Ishizuka with Konami Digital Entertainment's Kazuhiko Uehara.

Let's get this out of the way: Crazy Taxi, as it's available on PSN and XBLA is a modified port of a Dreamcast port of a now-classic arcade game. The Dreamcast port added in a second city to chauffeur customers around town, as well as the “Crazy Box” mode, which contains sixteen driving tests to hone and expand players' mad taxi skills. The PSN and XBLA version of Crazy Taxi is much like the Dreamcast version, with the extra city, time modes, and Crazy Box.

Sometimes game releases come about, not to offer the latest innovative experience, but rather to pay homage to our roots. Dragon's Lair Trilogy is one such example, and though similar gameplay would label a game broken or unplayable by modern standards, it showcases just how far we have come in 27 years.
