PB & Jason Issue 58: Go! VACATIONMON!

This week's news-oriented PB & Jason also covers a little bit of Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 and The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition.

While the title is based off of Namco Bandai's upcoming October release, Go Vacation, don't be fooled! PB & Jason is more than a summer stay at a resort or a monster. Also covered? Trenched, aka Iron Brigade, R-Type and the virtual console, Pietriots and their wall of diversity, the upcoming Playstation Vita Japanese launch, and the Amazon Kindle Fire!

Resident Evil Code: Veronica X - HD Review

Minimal improvements and dated gameplay – Code: Veronica X HD in a nutshell.

You may be asking yourself, "Why did Capcom decide to remaster Resident Evil Code: Veronica X in HD?" Truth is, I'm asking myself the same question after playing it. Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 Review

The commando returns for the sequel to the remake of the classic NES platformer.

The second iteration of Capcom’s Bionic Commando reboot once again takes us to the brutally difficult world of old-school NES platformers. Gameplay improvements and an awesome soundtrack await returning players as they precariously swing the commando from level to level. Technical issues keep the game from feeling too polished as a whole, but fans of the original may be pleasantly surprised as they play through the game’s many environments.

In this issue: I gloat about being right about a Wii redesign and the drop of GC backwards compatibility.

Oh, don't worry, that's not all this week's PB & Jason is about, but it does take up a substantial amount of airtime. With it is talk of the recently announced Europe-exclusive PSP model, the PSP E-1000, along with a little bit of analysis of what it means to drop the PSP's wifi capabilities.
