Prepare to trip in the jungle this September.
The following trailer released by Gamespot has revealed the release of Far Cry 3. Gamers can mark their calendars for September 4th on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

We can now narrow down the North American release window for Level-5’s Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. Namco Bandai revealed that they have moved from the vague release window of 2012 to the slightly less vague release window of winter 2012. Assuming the publisher isn’t referring to the winter we currently find ourselves in, this means that we’ll likely see the Studio Ghibli collaborated RPG come stateside at the end of the year.

At this point you’d have to be living under a rock to not have heard how Double Fine amazed the gaming world by raising nearly $2 million (and counting) for their next game, Double Fine Adventure through crowd sourcing site Kickstarter. Gamers who gave generously were given scant few details concerning the project aside from the fact that it would be a classic point-and-click graphic adventure game and that it would be released around October of this year. But now that the project is certainly a go, Tim Schafer has released a special message with a couple of updates on the project.

If you said no, than does the idea of playing a story based game inspired by “Japanese woodblock prints, Kurosawa films, early Disney animation, and silent movies” intrigue you? How about playing through a love story using a simple gameplay mechanic? If any of these things captured your interest, you might want to look out for Karateka’s as of yet unnamed HD remake.

Last month, Modern Warfare 3’s Elite service finally got up and running, much to the excitement of its members. Being a subscriber to this program allows gamers to receive a special piece of DLC every month that is exclusive to the Elite service. January marked the delivery of the first content, with plenty more to become available on a month by month basis.
