This week's double-sized issue is twice the PB & Jason you'll ever be!
When one thinks "PB & Jason," one likely thinks of sandwiches, yes. Second in mind comes a wonderful little podcast starring one Jason Ross, of about 30-40 minutes a week, and maybe just a little extra. This week's PB & Jason defies all expectations, offering twice as much of both PB and Jason as normal! Wow!
You know you want to hear “Sonic Boom” again.
I love Sonic the Hedgehog. That is probably the understatement of the year, as I’ve made my love of the blue hedgehog well known and I know all of the Sonic games front to back. Well, most of them anyway. I didn’t own a Sega CD back in the day so one of the exceptions is Sonic CD. Since its initial release in 1993, diehard fans have sworn by the game’s quality, going so far as to call it the greatest Sonic game ever. Two ports have been released on the PC and as part of the Sonic Gems Collection on the GameCube, but this latest port is the most attractive release of the title. Does it still hold up 18 years later?
Sonic CD and Joe Danger succeeded financially and critically.
December is typically a slow month for video games. After the onslaught of releases during October and November, the last month of the year is usually reserved for buyers to purchase what's available. But some quality titles do continue to be released, and they're usually downloadable titles.
Looks like that elf-rogue costume will have to wait till 2013.
Bad news for Blizzard fans this morning, as it was announced that there will be no BlizzCon in 2012. Blizzard announced that the reason for skipping BlizzCon this year has to do with their restricting schedules. BlizzCon will return in 2013 with some big announcements.

The internet has been abuzz for quite some time now with rumors and speculation concerning the next generation of consoles. Most rumblings are completely unfounded – the results of a wishful fan's desire that their future console of choice fulfill some bizarre requirements. Final Fantasy is one of the most celebrated series in video game history. It spans 14 epic games across five console generations and is loved by fans around the world. But the funny thing about Final Fantasy is the fact that each adventure takes place in a completely different world with new lands to explore, party members to meet and villains to defeat. The only time a Final Fantasy game has continued its story was with the spinoff of FF X, which was given the awkward-but-accurate name of Final Fantasy X-2. That changes now, with the divisive Final Fantasy XIII getting a direct sequel on January 31.
