Boy Scouts Now Give Video Game Based Awards

The organization will aim to teach responsibility and teamwork through the new awards.

The Boy Scouts announced plans for video game based awards today, in a move geared to teach members of the organization many responsible ways to play games and work together. The Boy Scouts will require their willing Tiger Cubs, Cub Scouts, and Webelos Scouts to manage a few different tasks in order to receive the award, all geared toward safe and constructive gaming.

Final Fantasy XIII Review

Massive changes to the formula have been made, most of which will alienate the die-hard fans of the series.

Final Fantasy XIII is an absolutely intriguing game. I say this because it has made some of the most radical changes I have ever seen in an RPG, especially for the by-the-book Final Fantasy series. In my opinion, these changes are absolutely phenomenal; boiling RPGs down to their essence and refining the remaining bits into a single coherent experience. JRPG and Final Fantasy fans are likely to be outraged at the massive overall seen here.

Max & the Magic Marker Review

Can Max and his Magic Marker draw their way into your heart?

Playing Max and the Magic Marker, I've found, is both an act of joy and frustration. It's a unique, colorful title, with its own imaginary world where the hero, Max, of course, dashes through to chase and defeat "the monster" Max accidentally created with his magic marker. The title focuses on physics-based puzzle-solving and platforming, though there's a little bit of exploration in the mix.

'Again' Release Date Confirmed

CING's Again, for the DS, will be released March 30th. Gamers should find the game plays similarly to Hotel Dusk, and fits description of the Interactive Novel genre, in particular.
