Konami is rebuilding Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater from the ground up with a few modern additions, like achievements/trophies and updated button configurations. They will also have icons, sound effects, and fonts upgraded to HD, plus a frame rate locked at a steady 60 frames per second.
In an effort to start off strong, gamers in Japan will have 26 choices.
Last night, Sony revealed during their TGS 2011 press conference that the Vita will launch in Japan with a total of 26 titles on December 17. The launch will feature some major titles, like Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Disgaea 3, Katamari no Biita, and of course, Ridge Racer. Click through for the full list.
While it didn't make an appearance at last night's conference, Nintendo did officially reveal and detail it on their website.
It was expected that Nintendo would detail the new 3DS Circle Pad Attachment peripheral during their press conference last night. It was also speculated that the peripheral would be something Monster Hunter specific, designed and created by Capcom. Neither held true when Nintendo revealed the peripheral after the conference online last night. Retailing at ¥1,500, the peripheral will be an officially supported add-on and will be available later this year on December 10, alongside the release of Monster Hunter 3 G, which will include support for the peripheral.

Psychiatrist Carl Jung, a contemporary and friend of the more famous Sigmund Freud, believed that the unconscious human psyche manifests itself through different roles to the individual. The Metroid series is one like no other. It offers a unique experience that has rarely been replicated in 2D and stands completely alone in 3D. Nearly every entry in the series is extremely highly regarded and for many, games like Metroid Prime and Super Metroid are among the best games ever created.
