The portable title will feature the first female protagonist.
The PlayStation Vita is getting Assassin's Creed III, but it won't be the same title appearing on consoles. Assassin's Creed III: Liberation will feature the series' first female protagonist and will be released at the same time as the console title this October.
The special edition comes with an encyclopedia and graphic novel.
Though Assassin's Creed III is still a number of months from launch, Ubisoft has made available a special Ubiworkshop Edition of the game for pre-order. In addition to a copy of Assassin's Creed III, it will include a second edition of the Assassin's Creed Encyclopedia and the Assassin's Creed Subject 4 graphic novel.

Bethesda has announced that its visually impressive assassin title, Dishonored, will be released on October 9. Published for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, the game looks to have taken ideas from Assassin's Creed and extrapolated them into some new and potentially interesting territory.

Their unique blend of camp and the bizarre has been turning heads for years now and their newest title appears to be no exception. Killer is Dead is Suda51 and Grasshopper Manufacture's latest work, and though the name seems to imply it, the title bears no relation to their past work, Killer 7.
