Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 Review

It’s a curse to play such horrible garbage.

Imagine for a moment that you’re the world’s perfect predator, and you have an open and sprawling city that is now your playground after being at rest in the shadows for hundreds of years. You’re sneaking up on your prey, salivating at the heartbeat that is about to feed you when you suddenly step on a twig. Weapon Shop de Omasse Review

Crush my brain with an anvil.

3D Space Harrier Review

“Feed me quarters.”

Oh, Space Harrier, how should I describe you?  Should I compare thee to an endless runner?  Thou art more lovely and insane.  Rough controls do tire the limbs of any gamer, and this title’s fun supply is far too short.   But the eternal summer of my nostalgia for this game shall never fade, nor will the death of the ‘80s cast shadows upon its uniqueness.

Personal Picks for GOTY 2013

Winners in our hearts.

Voting is a funny thing. It’s hard to argue with addition, but there are plenty of instances where some of the staff thought a title or two got overlooked. Even though our GOTY 2013 article used some inarguable mathematics to come to the PixlBit staff’s consensus opinion, some of us thought there were games that should have gotten a few more votes. To highlight some of the games that each of us took a particular shine to in 2013, we present our staff’s personal picks that didn’t make the cut.

PixlBit's 2013 Games of the Year

Our staff's best games of 2013!

Video games had an exceptional year in 2013, with tiny indie teams getting attention for their creativity, and the usual budget behemoths stealing national headlines for their record-breaking sales.
