An unfortunate misstep that won't soon be forgotten.
Out of every game I’ve played this year, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations is without a doubt the biggest disappointment. For a series whose name automatically garners praise and adoration from the gaming community, this title is a blemish on its reputation. All of the passion and soul created by carefully weaving the ongoing plotline into evolving gameplay feels abandoned with Revelations. Without it, all that’s left is a game with a convoluted story and gameplay that is practically identical to Brotherhood.
This is a change from Ubisoft's recent treatment of its PC titles.
The PC version of Assassin's Creed Revelations will not come with always-on DRM. Ubisoft confirmed to Rock, Paper, Shotgun that players need to be online when they first start the game, but that after that, no connection is needed.
Available on November 15, 2011 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
The newest trailer for AC Revelations shows "Life in Constantinople".
Basketball MVP Derrick Rose, Football Legend Adrian Peterson and MMA Champion BJ Penn Star in this new trailer.
It's official! Our favorite Renaissance era assassin will be playable in SoulCalibur V.
The SoulCalibur series is no stranger to the concept of the cross game cameo. Previous installments have seen Spawn, Yoda, Darth Vader, Heihachi and even Nintendo’s pointy eared Hylian, Link show up as bonus characters, so it only makes sense that the upcoming fifth game in the series will uphold this fine tradition.
Watch this exciting trailer showing Ezio and Altair in action. Assassin's Creed Revelations comes out November 15, 2011 for the PS3, PC, and 360.
Ubisoft's most popular franchise to date may be coming to the big screen sooner than you think.
According to a report from Variety, Sony Pictures is coming close to securing a deal to develop a film on the iconic video game franchise, Assassin’s Creed. The deal is said to include both adaptation and distribution rights.
Finally, a reason to dust off those 3D glasses.
Gamers that shelled out money for a 3D setup will be glad to hear that Assassin’s Creed: Revelations will support 3D output on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
