Dragon's Dogma Demo Will Soon Be Available

Take your pawn for a test drive

An article on Gaminformer's website revealed that Capcom will be releasing a demo for their upcoming title Dragon's Dogma.  The demo will let you try out two classes against one mythical creature each.  The strider, possibly a reference to their strider games, will pair off against a flying griffin, while the aptly named fighter takes on a chimera.

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend Review

Potentially one of the best looking games on the Vita right now. Oh, it's a pretty damn good fighter too.

With this new generation of handhelds it has become clear that home console fighting games can be brought to portable systems without cutting down the original in any way shape or form. To that point, BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend, a massive game, has been ported wholesale to the PlayStation Vita with absolutely no concessions.

Street Fighter X Tekken Preview

The Number 1 Contender for Fighting Game Champion.

This generation has been extremely kind to the fighting game enthusiast. Not only have we seen the rebirth of franchises such as Street Fighter, SoulCalibur and King of Fighters, but we have seen things happen that were previously unlikely for the genre. Nobody thought we would see Marvel vs. Capcom 3 after 10 years, yet last year we got not one, but two different versions of the long-awaited sequel.

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend Review

Awesome fighting mechanics and a variety of modes make this one of the best fighting games released recently.

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend is an updated version of the original Continuum Shift that was released in 2010 with extra content. I myself am a big fan of the fighting game genre but I've yet to play a BlazBlue title. Although I was initially not impressed, as I continued to play, the game opened up and I  was rewarded with a complex, but gratifying combat system, an intriguing story mode and a colorful cast of combatants.

Tekken 3D Prime Edition Review

Psst, Tekken team, online modes don't have to be broken.

Tekken 3D Prime Edition broke my heart. Over the past five or six days, I had the opportunity to really get to know Tekken and I've come to understand and enjoy its brand of fighting. Past efforts proved fruitless; but something clicked this time. At its core, Tekken 3D Prime Edition is really just a stripped down port of Tekken 6, complete with the full (enormous) roster unlocked from the get-go. Sounds great, no? Well, it was… until I took it online. Here the ugly monster within sprung free – just like Tekken 6, the online mode is broken; a shot through my love-struck heart.

The King Of Fighters XIII Review

Like a teenager, the 13th installment in this franchise feels like a work in progress.

The King of Fighters series is one of the longest running franchises in the fighting genre. Initially released in yearly installments, battle systems have been introduced and removed, plotlines have started and ended, and characters have come and gone. Thirteen games later, King Of Fighters XIII is fun but predictable and does very little to distinguish itself from current titles in the genre.

More Street Fighter x Tekken Characters Leaked

Two characters are confirmed alongside two new leaks.

It seems that characters for Capcom's upcoming fighter are leaking on a fairly regular basis. The recent ESRB rating points to a reveal of Alisa and Lei, while both M. Bison and Xiaoyu were leaked by some telling images on the Xbox Live Marketplace. The most recent leak comes courtesy of a Taiwanese product listing for their collector's edition of the game. The listing confirms both Xiaoyu and M. Bison, but reveals both Akuma and Ogre. Jin is also depicted, but was revealed in trailers released by Capcom in the past.
