If you have been holding out for a rerelease of all of Capcom's digital games, today is your lucky day. The Capcom Digital Collection will collect eight of Capcom's recent XBLA games for $40 on one disc exclusively on the Xbox 360.
Three songs are a part of this song pack: Hangar 18, Public Enemy No. 1, and Symphony of Destruction. They're available as a single purchase for $2.99/240MS, or as a 3-pack for $7.99/640MS respectively on the Playstation Network and on Xbox LIVE.
The Ancestor Character Pack DLC for Assassin's Creed Revelations is now available for $3.99 on the PlayStation Network and PC, and for 320 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE.
BioWare absorbs Command & Conquer developer
Victory Games, the studio formally responsible for the famous Command & Conquer series has been absorbed into BioWare to form BioWare Victory. This news follows on the heels of the official unveiling of BioWare’s next project at the 2011 Spike TV Video Game Awards – Command & Conquer Generals 2.

Metal Gear Solid: Rising has been missing in action for over a year. Suddenly, at this past weekend's VGAs, it was revealed that the game now carries a new name, a new story, and a new developer. As it turns out, in the year the game has been missing, it has been through some extreme turmoil. For a brief time, it had been cancelled by Hideo Kojima.

As expected, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has been a massive success for Activision. Like past installments, the game has grossed in the billions; however, Modern Warfare 3 has managed to reach the mark faster than any other. In just 16 days, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has made $1 billion. This surpasses a record set by James Cameron's 2009 film Avatar, which grossed $1 billion in 17 days. This data is according to Charttrack and retail customer information.

Google's new "Native Client" technology allows high-end programs to run directly from the Chrome browser window. Many developers can use this to allow programs that normally would need to run off of a computer directly to run off an internet browser, which is more flexible. Furthermore, Chrome will store your game saves in the cloud, allowing you to pick up and play the game from a Chrome browser on any computer, with any operating system.

Developer Croteam has come up with an interesting way to prevent their game, Serious Sam 3: BFE, from being pirated. Some games use key codes, secure-ROM, or online validation. Serious Sam 3 doesn't use any of this.
