Hello again! Patrick is on vacation in New York City this week, so it's up to Julian and new third chair Angelo to hold down the fort. Somehow, they manage to ramble on for two hours about this, that, and the other thing.

Unfortunately Jesse was unable to join us this week, but the show must go on. In his place PSTC welcomes Backloggers Anonymous host Angelo Grant and staff newcomer Justin Matkowski. Justin gets a chance to introduce himself to the community while the cast takes a look at a smorgasbord of topics including Nintendo’s recent actions, the insane success of EVO and summer gaming.
When music actually KEEPS you from playing a game
It's happened to all of us, well the music lovers anyway. We boot up a game we're excited to play, settle in for the opening few moments, and at some point the game asks us to do one of the easiest things in the world: Press Start. And the music is so good, we just can't do it.

Ok, well it's not exactly part one...
So, funny story, I think Backloggers Anonymous is cursed when it comes to handling games designed by Irrational. The reason? Well, this is actually our second first recording for System Shock 2. The first one somehow disappeared from my computer after we recorded it, and the backup is gone too. I half expected SHODAN to email me something like I'VE DELETED YOUR PODCAST, INSECT, but that didn't happen, so I'm gonna chalk it up to the curse.

Well, it seems like you guys enjoyed my last find while YouTube diving, so here's something else I've found; an artist who calls himself SongeLeReveur. He brings a unique perspective to a lot of video game music, and covers a lot of songs in ways I've never heard before. Since Final Fantasy music is awesome, let's start with some Uematsu love.
