rRootage is a game built for "Shmup" fans. "Shmups," for those not in-the-know, are the genre where players guide a plane or spacecraft through and around a barrage of bullets and missiles fired by many ships, typically ending in a fight against a massive boss that fires hoardes more bullets. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment Announces Scribblenauts Sequel

The title will be available Fall 2010

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment officially announced Scribblenauts will have a sequel released in Fall 2010 today. The announcement follows rumors and recent magazine leaks about the game. The sequel is being developed by 5th Cell, the original game's developers, and adds adjectives into the game's mix, allowing players to use them to modify whatever nouns might be summoned.

Mega Man 10 leads this week's WiiWare, Virtual Console, and DSiWare releases

This week, Capcom releases Mega Man 10, the latest iteration of the revitalized classic Mega Man series. Also, the Virtual Console returns with Fatal Fury Special, a '93 NeoGeo sequel to Fatal Fury 2, which is complete with 15 characters. Dart Rage and Happy Hammerin' round out the Wii's downloadable offerings for the week.
