Well folks, believe it or not, PixlBit turns 7 years old today. Thanks to the hard work of a whole lot of people and all of you fans, we've somehow made it this far. I know some of you have been around from the beginning, others for many years at this point, and I sincerely thank all of you for making PixlBit one of my favorite spots on the internet.

257 - that’s the number of deaths I incurred on my voyage to 100% completion of Renegade Kid’s latest title and follow-up to 2012’s cult classic, Mutant Mudds. If you were wondering if it was indeed a “Super Challenge”, rest assured, it is. That being said, the original Mutant Mudds wasn’t exactly the easiest of games either. Certainly not the hardest, but a great old school challenge nonetheless. Mutant Mudds Super Challenge carries on the concepts of the original but brings 40 new, masterfully crafted levels that remove nearly all margin of error that the original game afforded.
Improved insanity.
It's weird, but Saints Row IV: Re-Elected is the first game in about a year that made me feel like I need to write about games again. I didn't expect it to be quite as good as it was, but after an hour with the game I knew I was in for a treat.

This past Friday, Nintendo released its latest title in the Super Mario series. For the the first time ever, they've put the tools to create Mario games in the hands of their adoring fans. If Twitter is any indication, the world is going absolutely nuts for the title and creating puzzles in rapid succession. As some of you may know, Chessa and I have been working on a game for roughly the past year. We became official Wii U developers around September of last year and began the true development cycle of our first game, PixlCross. We've come a long way and as of last week, we officially submitted the game to Nintendo's certification process, Lotcheck!
