I seriously need to play El Shaddai.
I bought a Condemned game too this month, on Steam. Cheap as hell, so why not. I played the second one on Xbox, and it was cool. Interesting games.

October was an interesting month. Got a lot done...just not on the games front
Games Beaten
...
It would seem I didn't actually finish anything in October, which is sad and frustrating. I was trying to beat Shin Megami Tensei IV but didn't quite make it in time. I beat that today, actually, so at least I'll have something for next month.
Games Bought
-Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (PS3) (PS+)
-Condemned: Criminal Origins (360)
-Condemned 2: Bloodshot (360)
I picked these two up after reading KnightDriver's blog about the first one. I think I'll like them but even if not, I paid $5 and $3, respectively, for them so it's not much of a risk.
-Zelda: The Wind Waker HD (Wii U)
Wind Waker is one of my favorite Zelda games, so I'll pretty excited about this snazzy remake. Not sure when I'll get to it, though my wife never played the original, so she's planning on playing this one soon.
-Pokémon X (3DS)
And this is what she's playing right now.
-Gears of War: Judgment (360)
Got this to play with my brother online (more on that later).
-Archer Maclean's Mercury (PSP)
-Mercury Meltdown (PSP)
These two rolling ball puzzlers came on one disc. Supposedly pretty good.
-Poker Night 2 (PS3) (PS+)
Poker with GLaDOS and Claptrap (among others)? Yes please!
-Shadow of the Colossus (PS3) (PS+)
I played this gem on the PS2 but HD seems like a fine excuse to play it again.
-Hotline Miami (PS3) (PS+)
I've heard many interesting...and violent...things about this game. Now I can find out for myself.
Now Playing
-El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron (PS3)
Playing this trippy game for Backloggers Anonymous. I was worried they'd get the second podcast up before I finished but so far looks like I still have some time. The game plays well enough but the experience of playing is what's really keeping me going. It's a very strange game.
-Gears of War: Judgment (360)
Just started this last night. It will probably take awhile to get through because I think we'll only be able to get everyone together once a week. It's fun though. 4-player co-op on the campaign is a blast.
Blogs
I blogged a lot more in October than, well, any other month ever, I think. So I thought I'd round them up for anybody who missed one and still cares to go back and read it.
Each week I featured a Halloweenish remix from OCR
-Call of the Mask from Splatterhouse 3
-Heart Beats from Zombies Ate My Neighbors
-The Dark Side of Phobos from Doom
-Who's That Child from Castlevania
-Of Transformants and Brevity from Final Fantasy VII
Also highlighted the excellent soundtrack of Bloodrayne Betrayal
Shared a few iOS games
-Zombie Gunship (which just got an update with a new level)
And then some miscellaneous stuff
-The Two-Sentence Horror Story
-Poe: Not just that ghost from Zelda
-Play the game I wrote the soundtrack for!
And what would October be without a good scary movie?
I know, me too. Which path did you go, Law or Chaos? I assume you didn't manage to get Neutral. I went Law with the intention of going back to my other save file and playing the Chaos route as well (you know, that big choice between Walter and Jonathan). But it took me over 21 more hours after that choice to finish the game, so there's no way I'm going back to play the other side right now.
So what if you didn't get to beat any games this month. It's better to get your fill of all that Octoberween gaming can offer! All of the games I chose to play this year I didn't beat, either because I've played them before or I just wanted to get my Octoberween buzz.
Good show on your blog postings! YOu really made the year fitting for gaming with all you wrote. Still trying to catch up on most of them.
I wondered how you had time to play all those games, but I guess it makes sense to just get a taste. And speaking of catching up, I've been hoping to get through yours...you're just a tad verbose lol and I haven't been able to use my computer the last few days because of a power cord issue. So much to do! Anyway, glad you like the blogs. I think it's the most I've ever done in one month.
