I think I’m done with Hitman for now. I have a couple bonus missions to play, but I don’t want to burn myself out on the six locations in the game. Still have my review in the queue, but I’m waiting for senpai (Nick) to notice me.

We recorded Nerds Without Pants last night. It is a great show, even though there are some technical difficulties, and I hope you’ll give it a listen when it drops next Wednesday. For the Stage Select topic, Angelo wanted us to select our top three video game intros. This was a difficult task, and I had been thinking about it for the entire two weeks before finalizing my picks. We all picked some awesome games, but of course we could have gone for hours on this one subject. So I thought it would be fun to talk about just a few of the games that almost made my list.

I’m a chronic insomniac. Always have been. However, it has been particularly bad lately, and I was forced to try and reset myself. This means that I was up all night, and the plan is to stay awake until late this evening. The idea is that I’ll be so exhausted by nine o’clock that I’ll sleep deeply and wake up at a decent time, feeling refreshed.

In my last blog, I wrote about how much I love my physical media, even though it can be a pain to deal with sometimes. That got me thinking about my fabled game collection, which I’ve been talking about a lot on Nerds Without Pants, if you follow the podcast. I’m going to pepper this post with some relatively recent pictures of my game room. Keep in mind that since these were taken I have added some art on the walls, there are more games on the shelf, and there is currently a huge stack of about twenty games sitting next to the TV that need to be filed.

You will have to pry my physical media from my cold, dead hands. My cold, dead hands, goddamn you! Of course, that’s not to say that having a huge collection of books, comics, movies, games, and music isn’t incredibly frustrating to manage sometimes, because it is. It totally is, especially when you move.

So, I’ve mentioned in my previous blogs about me doing a lot of research into YouTube. I’ve been trying to grow the audience for Nerds Without Pants, and it’s been slow going. Basically, I’m bad with keeping up on social media, which is how so many other (much newer) podcasts have grown leaps and bounds ahead of NWP. But I think we are an entertaining show, and I put a lot of work into producing it, and I want to carry that over into YouTube.
