I had a really good Monday. 

Yeah, sorry, I just don't see why this thing is getting good reviews. It's exactly what the first batch of trailers made it look like, just with a better CGI look for Sonic. Don't get me wrong, I appreciated the references (I thought it was great Sanic made an appearance) and the end credits sequence is great. Otherwise though, the jokes didn't land for me, the plot was bland and I wasn't as impressed by Jim Carey as others have been. And he was my favorite celebrity when I was young for exactly the kind of character he plays here! 

I'm close to finishing season 3 of Better Call Saul on Netflix and while Mike is my favorite character in either show, I'm a little annoyed his Breaking Bad antics are interrupting my realistic crime room and sibling rivalry drama. I think this show has a different, much more relaxed feel I actually prefer to Breaking Bad. 

I may or may not have got drunk and argued with IT people about PC vs. console on Facebook. I may or may not have said something fairly ignorant about what ROG Strix (part of my laptop's name) means exactly. 

I've noticed a couple of their reviews, specifically for Shenmue III and Death Stranding, have middle-of-the-road review scores and note either outdated (Shenmue III) or boring (Death Stranding) gameplay.

Finally. 

Well, I finished Shenmue after playing it for pretty much the whole day yesterday, and ... I have very mixed feelings. Very mixed feelings. Most of them regard not being able to get the Gacha Gacha III achievement with my completed game save file. What the hell?! Warn me! I was almost to 50 capsule toys, now I'll have to spend another who knows how many hours and in-game yen on doing this over and over:
