Ok so many many moons ago I was in the Disney College Program and my first year I worked on Main Street and this was the big parade for that season. I listened to it so much that I could recite the dialogue, hum all the music and I would point at the window right before the big fireworks display and say “daylight” (I worked at night up until closing). Funny thing is that I didn’t get to see the actual parade until the program ended and I came back as a guest. Here’s the parade. Have a good one!

So this is the final week of BaD. I’m a little bummed it’s almost over but we get a bonus day on Saturday. I really should write something on the 29^th as well. One of the coolest things I’ve done gaming wise on Feb. 29^th is get a platinum in Lego Pirates of the Caribbean. On my broken PS3 my game save still lives. I don’t have anything like that planned for this year’s 29^th unless I really grind on a game.

You know today I was going to be nice. It’s Friday, the weekend is here, I was going to just mess with my audio files, maybe sort through some cards or something and then I get back to back scam calls. I didn’t answer the first but when the second hit a minute later it was game time. Of course it’s one where it’s voice activated and I never say the first word so a lot of silence. Now I’m in game mode and I’m about to be called some funny words while asking them where it all went wrong. Good morning Pixlpeeps! Today for Quick Hits I’ll just go over mainly some pickups this week.

Ooh I almost forgot to post something today. Earlier I took a trip to the Target across town to check if they had any supplies for baseball cards and they don’t. Looks like I have to hit Amazon, but more on that later. Anyways here I am, it’s a nice warm day here in Southern California and here is a song I am currently listening to. Have a good one!

Good morning Pixlpeeps! So earlier this morning I was grinding away in Gems of War so I could hit my 200 or so shields or whatever those things are called (you earn them by playing a certain amount), and when I went to log it in I was no longer part of a guild. Apparently I was kicked. I didn’t do anything wrong, I was hitting the weekly requirements, donating 200k in gold for the greater good of the guild and now I am guild-less. I found a new one that is laid back where there are no requirements and to make myself a useful part of the group I kicked in another 200k in gold again for the greater good of the guild and to show that I wasn’t some lingering dude. Oh get this I kicked in another 40k to get the mound of orbs or whatever it is called so the guild can get it, and I wasn’t allowed to. Crazy, right?

Good evening Pixlpeeps! I am writing today’s blog on Monday night right before bed. I figure this way I get my random thoughts down now before I forget them and I like using my little keyboard that I bought for my iPad. I wish I would have read the description and got the one that was backlit instead of getting one that matched my wallpaper. Oh well.

Good morning Pixlpeeps and Happy Presidents Day! Special shoutout to the 29^th President Warren G. Harding!

I have about 15 minutes until I have to officially get up but I’ve been up since 6:30am just listening to the radio. Currently I am typing on the iPad and man if someone ever creates a keyboard with a trackpad I’ll be a fan for life. I’m thinking about trying to get back to reading the newspaper and the local paper has a special where I can get 3 months of their digital version for a $1. Not bad but I am in a small town so stories would most likely be palm tree on fire (this was an actual news story on the local news right after the main story of the day).

Oh I just got off the phone with a lovely scam caller. This is how the conversation went down:

Yesterday I had a random CD hunt where I scored some stuff but i want to save that for it's usual Quick Hits spot so today I thought I'd share a single from one of the CDs I bought. This song came out right around the time I started to learn how to play the saxophone and it blew my mind. We had no girls in our sax line in school, yet here was this saxophonist who kicked major *** . I would say this song opened doors for me to look for other saxophonists and really got me going on finding new music and trying to figure out how to play songs by ear.
