After revising my short-play list last night, I got down to some new titles today (Monday that is) starting with the Wii. I had my Game Cube controller ready to go for some Game Cube games too. Then it was back to Xbox 360, football and more Xbox. 

I had a half day of gaming today because of family, but that's ok. There's still a bunch of stuff to mention as I continue to churn through my quick-play playlist.  

Firstly, I am Master Chief. By that I mean we are the same age. I heard on IGN's Podcast Unlocked someone casually say that MC was 48. My eyes widened because I just turned that age a week ago. I didn't just go on the podcaster's comment though, I fact checked it on the Halo Wikia page and sure enough, in Halo 5, he is indeed 48. I just hope he isn't killed off in Halo 5. I'd feel a little weird about that. In any case, now I know what I'm going to be for Halloween.

2005. Can you believe right now it's the 10th anniversary of the Xbox 360? I remember getting that system like it was yesterday. 2005 is an interesting year because, for me, I was still playing my original Xbox and there were a load of great games for it . Why is it always the last year of system is its best? Anyway, here's an all-media look at my 2005.

Today I knocked off a bunch of games off my shortest-to-longest playlist. I skipped handheld titles because console is what Mark and I do. I may try to do them next time though, they are piling up on my list. I've gotta hook up my Wii again too. I think I've discovered enough room for it in my rig at Mark's place. 

This week I added a lot more of my collection to my playlist of games arranged by completion time. So a bunch of games got put into my travel pack for Mark's place. Those I finished with will be put in the trade bin to go towards new purchases. I've heard the Amiibo's are more plentiful right now and I'd like to have an Olimar one. 

Maybe you got all gothically moody with Evanescence's Fallen album. Ot started thinking about gaming as a true sport with Halo 2 multiplayer, or got outraged by the GTA: San Andreas "Hot Coffee" scandal. Or maybe you read David Mitchell's Cloud Atlas and hoped it'd be made into a movie, "It'll never happen!", you said. Or maybe you got your apocalyptic paranoia on with The Day After Tomorrow. I experienced none of that. I liked the following:

Four games played today. Got a lot done and knocked two more off my list. I'm dipping into the 7 hour long games now. Here's the breakdown. 

Still going through my games list, shortest to longest. I'm not even past games more than 6 hours yet. I played three games all on Xbox Live. Here be they. 

My old public High School (I mean that loosely because I only went there Freshman year and then went to a private school) has this ritual of painting their sports equipment shack every year with a different theme. This year it was video games and so I thought I'd take some pictures of it and share them here.
