Rpg's are about as rare to find on the Nintendo Wii as horror titles. Sure there were a few such as Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World or even wiiware titles like Final Fantasy IV : The After Years, but for the most part they were more miss than hit. And when we did get a RPG it was more of a hybrid style. Super Paper Mario became more of a traditional 2D platformer, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time was a DS port. And that brings us to today's game. Today we have a mystery dungeon roguelike that came to the Wii. This week's wii review-Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon- A game I bought for $15.

Survival horror is one of my favorite genres. The genre itself has matured to the point where a lot of innovation is going on. You certainly do have some great movies, but there are still bad examples of horror out there. American remakes of more popular japanese horror movies, sequels, reboots, and remakes are usually among the culprits. The same goes for videogames. For every good Resident Evil there is a Resident Evil: Gaiden. And for the Nintendo Wii the genre was also hit and miss. Sure you had some good titles like Fatal Frame 4, but it never made it stateside. Instead of a full fledged Resident Evil, we got "Wii-makes" of Resident Evil 0, 1, and 4 along with some lightgun inspired affair in The Umbrella/Darkside Chronicles. So needless to say, when I first l heard about Cursed Mountain I was pretty excited. From the premise behind it, to moving survival horror controls to the Wii, I figured Cursed Mountain would make for a more engaging experience, and it sounded good. So, today I present to you on this weeks Wii Review- Cursed Mountain. A Game I bought for only $10!

This week for a bargain bin game is a little something different. To talk about this game is to talk extensively about it's deeply engaging gameplay...not in a traditional sense. No this is more about the dream of creating a game. Giving you the tools to create a Shoot em up style game is probably a dream most of us have wanted to do. Well here it is as promised. So as I mentioned I decided I was going to go ahead and review bargain bin games that I've bought on the cheap. These games may range from "Huh!? What's that!?" to "Oh I heard about that, but I never bought it!" As such I wanted to bring you all into the world of Bargain Bin Buys. This is where I take a look at some notable or not so notable titles and say whether or not you should look into giving it a chance or steer away from such cheap, tempting fruits. Hello hello. It's been once again awhile since I blogged. Much like dracula I shun the light and waking up past the crack of 3pm *hiss* Anyways E3 happened and I am of course pumped about the PS4. I don't know if I will get it just yet seeing as how there is NEO on the way and the crazy VR. I want the Last Guardian so badly though. Like you have no idea. Iloved Ico and Shadow of the Colossus...I've been waiting since this was announced as far back as 2009! Remember 2009? Back before we had hovercars! We walked up hills! Walked I say!

So I caved in yesterday and decided to myself...you know Jon...the Wii U just ain't cuttin the mustard anymore. Speaking of which what does that expression mean? How does one cut the mustard? Are we assuming one is cutting a mustard bottle? Is it simpler? Are they cutting a hardened frozen mustard blob? Perhaps it is like cocaine in that you can cut lines of mustard.
