This one is for Snee since I know he loves spacey music. This main theme really just puts the mental image in my head of, well, cruising through space.

Ugh. Can you believe Netflix? Lazy sons of diseased cows. Their NieR adaptation sucks. I don't even have to see it to know. They didn't even have enough faith in their work to put the NieR name on it! And casting Sandra Bullock as 2B?? You would think Hollywood would have learned its lesson after Scarlett Johansson played the Major. Gosh. I give them props for not just following the story of the game but making it a giant escort mission? I'm shaking my head, friends, shaking my head. I long for the day when video game movies are quality products that are taken seriously, but NieR: Birdbox is not that movie.

Last summer and into the fall I took a deep dive into Sega Genesis music. Surely there is good Genesis music, despite the system's lousy audio reputation, right? I'm sure I only scratched the surface but the answer is definitely YES. My favorite, possibly, is the Elemental Master soundtrack, which I'll be sharing a track from each day this week. Enjoy!

Here we are, February first and I've got nothing special for Blog-a-Day. Oh well, I guess I'll give it a try anyway, against my better judgment. The response to my earlier blog was pretty encouraging. So here's BaD #1!

Hey, guys, I'm just curious who is thinking of doing Blog-a-Day next month. I had a blast with mine last year playing through that PSP Capcom collection but I've been so swamped this year that I haven't even thought about it. By this point in January I usually have at least a whole week's worth of blogs ready to go but I don't even have a theme. I'm not sure I'm going to participate this year and that makes me sad. But I remember that participation was pretty low last year as it was.
