I got so long-winded last time when talking about the games in my last blog on the mini PlayStation Classic that I decided to split it into two blogs.  So if you haven’t read that one yet, I encourage you to please do so.  Anyway, here’s the second batch of games on the PlayStation Classic.  I don’t have as much to say about most of these games, so hopefully this will go by a little faster. 

The Sony PlayStation is one of my favorite game consoles of all time.  It had a major impact on the industry and on many people’s lives, including my own.  So I was intrigued when Sony announced their PlayStation Classic system last year.  Similar to the NES and SNES Mini Classics, the PlayStation one is a tiny little console shaped like a little PSX and has 20 games preloaded onto it.  So I was glad when I got it for Christmas last year.  I finally got around to trying it, so I thought we’d take a look at what’s on it together in this blog.

Hey folks, I just wanted to post this blog to let you know that I won’t be writing any more game reviews.  APRIL FOOLS!  This blog is the total opposite of that!  It’s more reviews I’ve written recently at GamerDad.com.  Please click on the links and read as many as you can, and maybe even post a ‘like’ or comment or two.  I’d appreciate it.

So last we’ll look at the rest of the games on the vol. 3 collection of Atari games, these coming from the 2600.  I have to say that I don’t have as much nostalgia for the 2600.  I did play it a lot at friends and neighbors’ houses, but I didn’t own one myself until many years later.  Plus I just don’t think most of the 2600 library is that good.  I did like most of Activision’s games, and there were a few arcade ports that were decent, like Moon Patrol or Centipede.  But most of the Atari made games just didn’t grab me.  So if I gloss over a lot of these, now you know why.  Anyway, let’s look at the games on here.

Most of the previous Atari collections out there had just arcade games and 2600 games.  So it’s kind of a big deal that this one includes 5200 games as well.  I was especially excited when I found out about this, because technically, the 5200 was my first gaming console.  So let’s take a look at the 5200 games on this collection!

For Christmas I got the Atari Flashback Classics Vol. 3 game for PS4.  I love classic game collections and writing about them, so for the next while we’ll going to take a look at the games on this compilation.  There are so many though that we’ll do it in three parts.  The first part we will take a look at the arcade games on here.

At the end of summer, I usually see enough movies that season that I can write a blog about them.  And sometimes during the winter, I see enough movies to do that, too!  And this is one of those times!  So here are my impressions of new movies I’ve seen in the past few months.  I’ll try to keep spoilers to a minimum, but in case a small one seeps out here and there, you’ve been warned!  OK let’s begin!
