I have some gift cards and stuff for Best Buy otherwise, I'd probably have to pass on the CE myself. Also why can't games release before the weekend. I'd like to play it all weekend!!!

The PS3 is by far my favorite console this gen. I hope you dig it.
I get the complaint of the PS4 games they showed being disappointing, but the conference spent most of the time talking about games and tech. The share/social stuff was actually very minimal.
It just seems like a bit too early to react this way. I think if games continue to look this way after E3, then yeah. A lot of those exciting games you mentioned for the PS3 weren't a part of the initial reveal. Cross-gen titles are going to be more plentiful than ever though, so I think with third-party stuff the "I could get it on PS3" issue will continue to be a problem. Though the next gen versions may be vastly superior. Watch Dogs has only been show on high end PC for instance which I imagine is the next gen version.
I think after not having a title for seven years, it is okay to basically make one like the old ones. This happens to combine the best of the first three games by merging the hub worlds of 2/3 with linear missions that feel more like the first one. The ancestors even add the variety that the third game attempted, but with the ancestors they don't feel so far away from the Sly gameplay that is still the series strongpoint. Thieves in Time ended up being my favorite Sly game by a good bit. I hope Sanzaru gets to make another one or I'd even be up for them making a new Jak game since ND seems to not be into that.
I'd buy it for $10 maybe. 3 soured me pretty badly on the series. The sailing parts were pretty good though.
