Ah, I love Parasite Eve. I definitely have great memories of playing through it on my Playstation back in the day. The end boss is so hard! I actually played through it again recently on my PSP, and I have yet to beat the final boss. It's one of those fights that feels like a combination of luck and skill.
I'm a huge horror movie fan, so I'm completely shocked that I didn't know about all the connections this game had to horror tropes. I always played Street Fighter as a kid, but I think if I'd made the connection this would've been my game of choice.
I want to play the Twin Snakes version of MGS. I never I have. I've never even seen it in action. I didn't have a Gamecube during it's lifecycle, so I missed out on a lot of games.
I loved the original for the PSX; it's the reason I got one, actually. I want to play through all the games again (I picked up the HD remakes) and I think this is how I'll start it off, with the Twin Snakes version.
Ah Mega Man 3. My favourite. I was going to get it last night and try it out on my 3DS, but I decided to just grab the HarmoKnight demo and then hit the hay.
I really like Chrono Trigger DS. I'm at the point where I just have to choose which time to fight Lavos and I just have pulled... the trigger.

Our Zellers all closed down right before Christmas there. I scoured them for good game deals, but it was all shovelware or old PC games they'd found in the back, haha. I scored a few blu-rays, I think, but that was it. Target was supposed to open here soon, but I think they pushed it back a few months.
Wow, I have a 120 GB for my PS3 and I can't imagine ever capping that, haha.
It's a great show! I had no interest in Star Trek, honestly. Not that I didn't like it, just had no ambition to watch it, but now that I am I get all the hype. It's a really fun show. The visual effects in the early episodes are great for the late 80s, too.
I think I want to watch Deep Space Nine next, although I hear it's on a space station, so there's no exploring?
No, you were playing it right. The only real action in the game are the scenes where you run from the monsters, which could be cool, but are instead tedious and annoying.
