Yeah, I'm torn between my wanting to be a game collector and my being in debt, lol. We'll see what happens. I know I wouldn't get rid of it until I've played it through though.
Gremlins 2 is great! I highly recommend seeking it out. I think it's pretty cheap, and it's a fun and challenging platformer that captures a lot of the movie's creepier moments.
Gah, don't tell me that! I just bought it and a 3DS two days ago!
Lately I've been looking up some of my games with the thought of selling some off. I hate to do so, but I've got quite a few mint condition gems, including both Lunar games, rare NES titles, and those original .Hack games. Very tempting...

Looks like I'm going to be on Backloggers Anonymous for a while. 
It seems to me that Nintendo has been reliving their glory days for the past 13 years. Even their newer IPs, like the Wario Ware and New Super Mario series are trading on nostalgia. Ditto for Smash Bros, various remakes and re-releases.
Of course, it was this Nintendo Direct that pushed me towards buying a 3DS, so it's clearly working. But I'll continue to push for new and original games (hello, HarmoKnight) over the tried and true any day.
Ugh. Just let it die. No one has even played this thing at an event yet. I also don't see the reason for having the FF name on this. It looks like it should stand as a new IP to me.
Plus, I'm not looking forward to another 60 hours of Nomura character designs.

I actually voted for Vanquish because it was the only game on the list actually in my backlog, lol. It's just that Eternal Darkness was such a heavy hitter in the MIA March Madness polls.

Everyone here has their favorite companies, consoles, and genres, and as the Reviews Editor I try to get everyone to write about their personal journey with a game as opposed to the generic bullet point mechanics list.
