On The Edge

Thanks for spreading the Bugg! Sorry just could not resist that pun.lol. Yeah, he rules. Nice to see some young cats doing real music. I'll be looking for him on amazon for sure.

Good luck with the 6th graders. I was pretty tame up till 6th grade then I got a wild hair up my ass and was getting into trouble all the time. Mostly stupid pranks and such.

And bravo on your most exellent self discipline and keeping your priorities straight. Summers just around the corner, maybe you can get some proper gaming time in then.

Mass 3 is pretty epic, despite all the drama about the ending, which I had no problem with personaly. Looking forward to Nier, but I'm looking at my back log trying to figure out "whose next". Then I picked up two more the Sunday, Venetica and Dragon Age 2.

I have the GOTY version of both Fallout 3 and Oblivion, only got about few hours into either. I had heard of some messed up stuff happening in the DLC for Oblivion but this is the first I'v heard of Fallout 3 DLC being buggy. Bethesda really needs to work on that. Glad to hear it picks up. I got out of the bunker and started exploring a little but felt a little over whelmed by it. I finished the Mass trilogy a couple of weeks ago (love those games!), and I look forward to going through it again after a little detox and tackle some PS2 stuff in the backlog.

I have to play some more of the new stuff before I can give a deffinative choice, but off the top of my head I'd say Dishonored. Load times kinda suck but the game play and atmosphere of this game are really impressive.

Elevator = its a loading screen, lol. Mass 2 made it so that you have a lot of places to tune up your gear for you and your squad, so its not as much an issue. Mass 3 went back a step with you having to take a trip to the cargo bay again (sigh).

Anyway thats a bummer about Game of Thrones, its still a long shot but I'll have to check the Redbox for them.

Mass 1 is kind of quirky like that. I found the best thing to do is save before you do anything, it will save you some frustration. DO NOT TRUST THE AUTOSAVE. Also it is totally worth putting you skill points toward your charm & intimidate stats over some of the other stuff first. But it really is a good game although it does have some issues.  Mass 2 makes some huge improvements in just about everything and is probably my favorite of the 3. The classes are more well rounded, weapons and armor are way easier to manage. And combat is much tighter. I like them enough to play through the whole trilogy one right after theothe over the period of 2 months. Looking foward to playing again with a different class and try some different plot choices.

I think I would really enjoy GOT, but it has yet to appear on my Netflix, I don't have cable.

I Suck at Drawing Things

Posted on 04/14/2013 at 02:30 PM | Filed Under Blogs

There actually not that bad, the fact that you enjoy drawing is whats important. Besides like anything it just takes practice. The more you do it the better you will get. A good way to get better is to try and draw what other artists you like have drawn, like comics. Also you can find tons of books (some better than others) on  sketching and drawing. I got two from a great series called How To Draw Manga by The Society for the Study of Manga Techniques. Each volume focuses on a different aspect of illustration and building comics.

Tales of Xillia: Collectors Edition

I have missed a lot of collector edition bundles because I was broke. This is one I think I'll have to get. This series has always managed to keep true to its roots yet still evolve and improve over the years.
