It's been Awhile: Update

Posted on 05/14/2013 at 06:00 AM | Filed Under Blogs

"The story is....I have no idea what is going. I am pretty far in the game".....

This made me crack up quite a bit, thanks, lol.

But I liked Dark Sector from what I played a while ago. Like you said, it's not the best game, but it's far from the worst game as well!

Issue 123: PixlBite Engine 3

Here's a cool thought;

making a new Horror IP on the basis of something such as Cloverfield or Godzilla, but not exactly like them.

But could you imagine walking around in a town with 3-4 BIG monsters roaming around a sandbox-styled city in a survival horror fashion? All buildings (That aren't destroyed of course) are completely destructible, surivivor NPC's offering assistance or perhaps trading goods (Food, water, etc.. This IS a survival horror game afterall). Some NPC's are helpful, some just murder and loot.

I've actually thought this over quite a bit and I have a great pitch for a gaming company, but no way to get to them.. Bummer right? I literally have a 4-5 page document stating everything I'd like to do, but I have no idea on how to go about setting up a meeting with a company to pitch my idea.

Oh well.

El Shaddai $14 i can live with that

I grabbed this one for $2.99 on Xbox's Spring Sale in March. I haven't played it yet, but I'm definitely going to give it a try soon!

Bioshock 2

I also have played this game, but I never finished it. I got so far and just quit. It lost me at some point in time and I was more-less just playing through it to get it over and done with, but I couldn't even finish it. Perhaps I just need jump back into it and try it again..?

Why I Cannot Beat the Tomb Raider Reboot

I lked the game a lot myself, and it was one of the few games in which I beat through continual play (I normally switch around, but I stuck with this game to the end). With that said though, I definitely see the points you were making.

Risen 2: Dark waters not what you think

Posted on 05/13/2013 at 07:32 AM | Filed Under Blogs

I own the first Risen game and I liked what I played. However, I got stuck and couldn't figure out how to move forward. The sad part is that I was where I needed to be, but the game just wouldn't progress. I'm not sure if it may have glitched out or perhaps I'm just missing something?

EA doing Star Wars games is a GOOD thing!

I personally think that EA puts out quality games, at times.

I loved Army of Two: Devil's Cartel, but I wasn't about Dead Space 3. I honestly think though that the Star Wars games are in need of a fresh set of minds so they can continue to move forward.

Some of my all time favorite Xbox 360 Games

my all time favorite 360 game would easily go to Dark Souls. As far as 'exclusivity' is concerned, I'd probably have to say Lost Odyssey simply because that game is such a throwback to the older JRPGs that I used to play as a kid!
