In mentioning XCom 2, you remind me of the Halo Wars 2 announcement. I excited for both of those.
I finally got a XBO and PS4 this last holiday season. I'd still like a Wii-U. I think I'll get one when the next thing that I want comes out for it. I don't see anything coming the next few months though. I would love to play Pikmin 3. I should've bought the system when that came out. I was excited for it.
I always get smart with the character that's giving me fetch quests.
I don't like that you can't keep them if your PS+ membership lags. Plus I'm trying to get out of my digital hoarding tendencies.
Not sure. I'm thinking, though, that the code included is probably still good because Gamestop probably had this copy when someone didn't come for their preorder and opened it to make it used so they could sell it for profit. I don't like that, but it may mean I get the preorder bonus stuff.
This one isn't directly based on any specific game. It just takes place within the Halo universe and references story elements from the games. This one doesn't have any characters in the games that I could tell.
Most of the Halo books are not directly about the games, and most of them introduce new characters rather than stick with the ones in the games. Exceptions would be Fall of Reach and The Flood. The former is all about Master Chief, though, it's quite different than the game Reach, and the latter is based directly off Halo: Combat Evolved. This one is like a write up of a playthrough of the game. That one was less interesting than the others.
I read one of the Mass Effect books once. It was a prequel story to the first game, if I remember right; and I read a Fable book, which was a kind of side story to Fable II.
Nice game room. I play sitting in a computer chair, and I think it's not so good for my neck as it doesn't have a head rest. I should play from a couch like what you have.
I really want to play Woolly World. I love the design of it.
I almost got it day-one, but, like you, I wasn't sure I'd like it. For the $17, I'm happy to give it a try. It'll be worth it just to see all the characters and monsters from the RPGs.
I liked Pokemon Shuffle better than Puzzle & Dragons too. Dot Arcade and Freedom Planet look neat. I kinda wonder how Nintendo didn't do Splatoon earlier given the popularity of games like COD. It's totally a kid friendly multiplayer shooter.
