I've finished it now and definitely enjoyed it. I have some quibbles (more on that next month!) but it has a great endgame.

When I get a Switch, I wanna get Axiom Verge. Yes, it's available elsewhere but really feels like it will be a great fit for the Switch
Do you have a Vita? God Eater 2--as well as the remake of the first game--are available on the Vita. It's cross play and cross save between the two systems, but unfortunately not cross buy -__- GE Resurrection has been on sale already and the second game will likely follow suit at some point, so keep an eye out!
I think the value proposition with the Destiny games is directly proportional to how many friends you have playing the game and how dedicated they are. I feel that I've definitely already gotten my money's worth out of it and I haven't finished the raid or even started a second character yet!
Is this part of a trilogy with the games Baker and Candlestick Maker?
I was saying to my wife the other day how it's nice that I can jump straight into something without worrying about getting bounties first...but that I missed the satisfaction of completing the bounties. I guess the challenges and milestones serve the same function and are more convenient. They just don't have the same kind of tactile feel to them. I guess it's similar with all the old dailies
I bought it really cheap during a sale, so you can probably save some money if you keep an eye out for it!
Hey, man, Destiny 2 is all she's playing! I am enjoying a buffet of gaming goodness
Samus Returns is a solid return for the series after its absence following Other M. I haven't finished it yet but overall I'd say it's one of the weaker 2D adventures but, other than the 8-bit games, that is an incredible line up, so I'm not trying to dump on it. I'll have more to say in next month's recap
I am quickly becoming a Dragon Quest fan!
Uncharted 2 is an all-around better game, no doubt, and I enjoyed it more than the first game but I do like the story of Drake's Fortune better. For whatever that's worth.
In other JRPG news, I'm playing Dragon Quest IV for the first time right now. I've had a hard time putting it down! I'm early in chapter 3 with Torneko.
The number of mobile games worth a look is just unreal
