Great review. I plan on playing the first game before the second, just to get acostumed to the mechanics.

Great review Michael. I've been a fan of the first film ever since I saw it and seeing a love letter to it sounds great to me. Hopefully my fear of horror won't detract me from playing this.
Depends, are you talking about actor Eastwood, director Eastwood or both as a whole? For director, maybe J. Edgar, though I found that more of an interesting, but VERY flawed film.
Eastwood is cool in my book though. His performance in The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, my fav western so far, was legendary.
First some corrections: Robotnick/Eggman is only on Sonic's story. The one on Knuckles story is a robot that looks like Robotnick/Eggman, and made by him of course, but the doctor himself doesn't appear (as I remember). It's also posible that both stories don't happen at the same time from a theory I saw around the internet.
Secondly, dude, Metal Sonic debuted first on Sonic CD, not 3 & Knuckles.
Other than that, another good blog. Since I consider Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles the same game (which basically are), most of my opinion on Sonic 3 aplies here. My only slight complain is that Knuckles levels are damn hard!
Great to hear from our glorious 117 monarch.
Your description on playing Slender: The Arrival kinda mirrors my experience with horror games and most horror media in general. I'm trying to get over with it, since there's a lot of interesting Horror stuff I want to experience.
I also been unproducting for Halloween, with my only october blog contributions being my Limbo and music posts.
I also want to check more on Coulton..
Nah, i'm still getting more into Black Metal, but haven't bought any album of that genre (unless you count Alcest).
I'm glad to discover Godspeed You Black Emperor. The thing is, i'm avoiding hearing their other songs so as not to get spoiled and keep the surprise.
Haven't heard much of Andrew Gold either.
Odly enough, I don't find Tool music videos scary, but more on the weird side. Still, I love them.
To finish, excellent song you posted.
First of all, Aphex Twin is NOT a them! It's a him. He's also a pretty important figure in Electronic Music and that song with its music video is his most (in)famous. And yep, dude's famous for that kind of harsh Electronic music, though he also idulges in very serene Ambient Electronic.
Not a fan of Rob Zombie, but I do like most of his catalogue, the B-movie feel on his music and he's incredible when playing live (I witnessed that when I saw him at Graspop 2014).
Glad you liked the music.
I pretty much got into anything Post Rock and Metal to a certain extent after I discovered the band Mogwai. It's very relaxing music and it can be very beautiful.
So Korra wasn't as great as expected? Oh well, it looks fun to me and I don't think it hurts to get it on sale. Just tell Jamison that the first Avatar is the best heroe's journey :P
Glad you started playing Psychonauts. That game is fun and many kinds of creative, even if the plataformer may be sloopy in some places.
