I love the HT movies. They're written by Adam Sander and Robert Smigel (who did TV Funhouse for SNL). It looks like HT2 did very well at the box office, so it looks like there will be a third movie. Yeah!

i'm always intrigued by these From Software sim heavy titles, but I prefer the more arcady games like Mechwarrior. I'd like to try Armored Core Verdict Day though because it's apparently a little less sim-like.

My friend Mark and I played Halo co-op every weekend until Halo 2 came out. That was like three years. Incredible. It never got old and we even played the same two levels over and over again: Silent Cartographer (where you land on the beach) through Assault on the Control Room.
I say good, but that's certainly not great. They weren't broken or terrible, and for a licensed game, that's pretty good.

SoE was very thin. Barely a story, barely a main character, just hoards of baddies to shoot. Almost like a unfinished game really. Or a test for a full game. Still fun though.
