I'm still going for achievements, but I only go for them on games I really enjoy. Also usually never with co-op games.
I really enjoyed the original Bravely Default and was thinking recently of picking up Bravely Second. I heard they discounted it recently, might be a good time for me to pick it up.
I used to do the occassional movie blog back in the 1up days. I still watch a lot of movies, so I'd read your blogs.

Yeah, they made the graphics really snazzy for Halo Wars 2.
I never played the original FFXIV, just A Realm Reborn. I don't think I missed out on much.
Blitz mode is basically a faster version of Domination in Skirmish. You use cards to summon units and fight against other people. I would recommend playing the other modes a lot first so you can unlock more packs as you rank up or progress through the story.
Those frustrating parts fade over time anyway. It was more about the overall experience that I got from it, and it was a very memorable one at that. I'm excited to see what Ueda makes next, though hopefully it will be an indie game that doesn't take ten years to make.
I wish Arcades were here like they were in Japan: where they constantly get new games with fancy graphics. Here, the only arcade machines I ever see are classic games, most of which you can buy for really cheap online or in compilations.
This Round 1 looks like one of those rare places that actually imports those Japanese games. I hope you enjoy it.
Mostly for the gunplay and the open-world elements. I don't think it has the best stealth, but I was never big on the series' stealth elements, personally.

One of my weird gaming habits I used to have was only play a game for an hour at a time, then switch to another one. I'd play three or four games a day, taking forever to finish games but rarely dropping them. One of the games was Dragon Quest VIII which took me like six months to complete.
Anyway, thankfully I kicked that habit. Now I only play one game at time, usually marathoning them.
