I'm not the big man in charge, but if you tag your blog with an NSFW heads up in the opening paragraph I'd say you've done your due diligence.

Is the stick made by MadCatz? They've been doing great arcade sticks since SF IV, so that would be worth it. Otherwise, I think it boils down to your gaming budget. Although I look at my unused MK 9 bookends and wonder why I spent 100 bucks on it.
It's awesome that your wife is playing it and having a blast. Has she taken offense to anything in the game?
I know that they updated the game recently, so they very well could have implemented some sort of save system.
*claps slowly and starts a standing ovation*
Mass Effect freaks are welcome here! To be honest, I talk about it so much that I've made a loose New Year's resolution to not mention it on the podcast. So far, it's only come up in two episodes.
It's a long road ahead.
Glad to hear it! I'm probably the biggest Giant Bomb fan here at PixlBit. I love the crew and they run my favorite podcast. But the community seems too crazy for my taste also. I'll check out comments whenever the site runs anything thought provoking (like Patrick's piece on the #1reasonwhy Twitter campaign) and it's so full of negativity that I have to go away.
But we're pretty chill around these parts. And I think the Gamemaster4747's of the world will probably end up at places like Destructoid anyway.
You were always one of the most awesome people to comment on my blogs, even when what I wrote wasn't that good. I've always appreciated that. I like having feedback on my stuff, and I hope we get a lot of great comments from all of these wonderful new/old friends.
That was taken just outside of The Pantry in L.A. during E3 2010. Milky was amazingly cool. I just stopped to tell him how much I loved what he had been doing with EGM before the end and he asked to take a picture with me. It was also taken by Tetsuya Mizuguchi, who I had a total brain fart over until the next day.
I messaged Milky after I wrote that EGM blog I linked to and he remembered me and told me to keep writing. Awesome dude, and that was one of my best E3 memories.
Great blog, Mike. I love that I have the claim to fame of "discovering" you. Of course, that's because you discovered me. I'm putting up a general welcome (*salutes General Welcome) feature in a bit, and I hope you like it. Just one thing--a lot of your links just link back to PixlBit. While we love the clicks, you may want to check on that.
Oh, and as far as retro gamers go, you have me, Angelo, and Nick for sure, but a lot of the younger guys on staff love going back and experiencing the classics for the first time.
