Super Metroid is the kind of game I respect a lot, but don't quite enjoy as much as everyone else. I think my issue was that I played Prime and Zero Mission first and just prefer the way they handled the formula so SM seemed kind of basic. I still like the game, just not one of my favorite games of that era.
Mass Effect and Gears are both great. I should get Kameo one of these days.
Sin and Punishment was fantastic. One of my favorite Wii games for sure. You're not missing out on anything with Epic Mickey though, as mediocre as games get.

The difference between rooting for Sony and a team is that other teams doing well hurts your team. When the Eagles win, that means my Cowboys have a tougher time making it to the playoffs, so I have a damn good reason to dislike that team. When Sony and Microsoft don't do well, we all win because they have to go to great lengths to one up the other guy. Things like creating new IPs like The Last of Us and making sequels as good as they can be like Uncharted 2.

Out of these Metal Gear Rising was easily my favorite. So much damned fun. I honestly think there's a good chance Bayonetta 1 will be better than 2 as excited as I am for 2 though, so give it a shot. Though I think you wouldn't really care if it weren't for 2 being Wii U exclusive :P
I was pretty underwhelmed with NFS and Burnout though, preferred standard racing games. I'd also say to add Last of Us to this, think you'd love it.
The 3DS version is great if you have a Circle Pad Pro. Without it, the game's kind of a mess.

Yeah, but I'd recommend the PS3 version over the Vita one. It's a game that uses every single button, so switching weapons with the touch screen instead of its usual interface is awkward.
