nice mic! and mixer! I'm a bit of a sound gear geek myself, and I love stuff like that. I'm using an Audio Technica mic, a AT-2020. $100. It does the trick for vocals, and I have software that cleans it up real nice. I need to buy a new mixer, and I want one that works as a control surface for a DAW and has firewire connection to computer. There's a Yamaha that strikes my fancy. I love Yamaha sound gear.

I was thinking about you today because I saw RPGMAKER VX Ace on sale again, and I almost downloaded it, thinking I could go back to game making. But I have enough projects! I really respect that you are making your game though!
As far as the industry goes, I get angry too, but I have hope, mostly because of indie developers, and the idea that games will get easier and easier to make as time goes on. I think this will be the case, but it will take a little time.
I'm disabled, so I don't leave the house much... that's why I can blog so much and spend most of the day on my projects. Sometimes I'll take on a music production job for an ad or a cartoon or an artist of some sort, but that's rare. Mostly I try to keep at peace and take things slow.

I don't have the heart to put up my game collection. It's really not too big though. I trade in games and sell them to Amazon if I get sick of them. I collect PS2 games though, so I don't sell those.

I totally agree with you. the stranglehold on cultural ideas in this country is insane. I believe people should be able to own their intellectual property, but it gets in the way of cultural innovation if it's too tight. There has to be a middle ground.

hey man good blog! I never really thought of it that way. It has been a strange generation, that's for sure.... I do have hopes though that the future is bright for gaming.
It is interesting that Atlus skipped a generation. Pretty bizarre actually.
