Oh yeah, the rough patch is over I think. It shouldn't have been that hard, but my anxiety made it so. Like I said though, I got therapy and such and did a lot of mental improving, so definitely turned out being a good thing in the end.

They're already looking up quite a bit, actually. The worst of it was over after I handed in my papers. Writing fifteen pages in one night sucked balls, though, and I'm not sure they were a good fifteen pages. Hopefully, they were good enough that I don't have to repeat that course. Thanks, man!

I definitely like the game for the most part, but even with going online to look at tutorials, this final trip to the hub dungeon you return to periodically is a pain in my ass. It's the only Zelda game I own I have yet to finish. The controls do not make it more fun. Overall, I reccommend it, but try before you buy if you can.
I was never good at Tetris as a kid, due to my mistaken belief that you were supposed to stack the blocks (yeah, I wasn't the brightest when it came to puzzle games), but that little Russian ditty is a classic. Nowadays I can regularly get to level 50 or above on freetetris.org, but I miss that awesome music.
As for Pokemon, I only ever played Blue and Red, mostly because the initial Pokemon craze hit when I was in middle school. I haven't played past those because I'm not big on JRPGs. Despite the problems you've noticed with them, they were much simpler than most JRPGs I remember playing, and I dug the collectathon gimmick, so I got much farther in them than most games I played in that genre.
I'll trust you that they've improved though, they must be doing something right for the series to continue this long. And I wish that glitch in Crystal had been present in the initial releases. Having Squirtle, Charmander, and Bulbasaur on one file would have been cool.
I never played the other titles you mention, but they all sound like games I'd like to play, so I may refer back to this list if I'm searching online for something to play, or if I find myself at a used game store in the near future.
Twitch TV and 64 player battles sound like awesome concepts; hopefully, they work out the kinks.
Elite Beat Agents was one of my favorites on DS, and one of my favorites in general. I think I've said it was my favorite game ever; not sure if I believe that, but it's really fun (and challenging later on) and it's up there.
I've been looking at Ghost Trick for a while myself as far as DS games. Otherwise, I guess you can look at my DS collection, and see if anything sticks out to you.
Congrats on the new 3DS by the way, I'm jealous.
Never thought about it as a mix between X-Men, Mega Man, and Street Fighter, but I did like this game. Mostly, I just loved playing as Gambit.
Since you've always liked strategy and RPGs more than I do, I was surprised by how many games on your list I've enjoyed or wanted to play. Mystical Ninja looks like a lot of fun.
