I have this on the Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection on ps3. I thought it was fun, but never did finish it. I'll have to remedy that someday.

Well... I was interested in this game lol. I still have yet to finish the HD collection though so I think I'll stick with that. I hate how most of these newer games are scared to take any chances. I guess with such absurd budgets it's understandable that companies will want to play it safe. I'd much rather TR to have puzzles and more emphasis on platforming. Isn't that what the series is about anyway?

Great review! This is one of my favorite NES games. I don't know if I'll ever beat Tyson, but I'm not gonna give up. I didn't realize that the original version of this game had Tyson. I wasn't sure why there were two versions. Maybe that's why it's more expensive than regular Punch Out!!?

The first SNK game I ever played was Guerrilla Wars on NES. Have you played that? It's really not that great. I love the Metal Slug games and those ps2 collections are good enough for me. I was interested in that Neo Geo X system as well, but I'm glad I didn't get one now.

Congrats Joe! That's the only Zelda game I haven't beat and could care less if I ever do lol. Damn time mechanic ruined it for me.  It must be nice to beat it after all these years. There are some games that I don't think I'll ever finish. Ninja Gaiden on NES comes to mind. Damn birds!

That's an awesome set up man!!! I have a Vizio 42" tv too and haven't had any problems with it so far. I especially liked the boxed copy of Double Dragon 1 + 2, and  I couldn't help but notice you were playing Contra. I play those games on an almost daily basis lol.

Nice song. One of these days I want to finish Seiken Densetsu 3. I'm not really the biggest fan of Secret of Mana, but I liked the third one a lot. It sucks we never got an actual release of it over here in the US. I would have loved to have a SNES cart.

There's also a fortune cookie option that picks out a random game if you ever don't know what to play next.

The backloggery has helped me a lot in focusing on my backlog. It's much easier to resist buying games with that hideous list staring me in the face lol.

EA is the Mecha-Hitler of gaming companies! lol. I'm excited about this too. This news came outta nowhere and was a pleasent surprise.
