It's definitely not for everyone. It's difficult to get into, but what I love is that it's such a diverse genre.

Alright. Let me know what you think of the bands/if you have a favourite.
Also, feel free to shoot some recommendations my way!
Yeah, I feel the same. I'm a white dude in real life, why the fuck would I want to be a white dude in a fantasy setting? I've had that experience, it's kind of boring. But yeah, it depends on race/class a lot for me in things like that. Plus, Joss Whedon has trained me to always pick a badass female when I can!
I'll try and track down a mod that shows a sneaky testicle hanging out the side of my armour :p
The sexual thing isn't for me, but if that's what people need to get it up I'm not going to take it away from them! Weirdly enough, I've seen a lot of guys say it's a sexual thing purely as a counter for people calling them feminine, like they'd rather be a pervert than have their masculinity called into question.
"Yes. Actually, when I was playing Tera with a female character I felt other people helped me out more on the field and tried to friend me, unlike playing as a male gender. I've noticed this in other games."
Yeah, I've found that too. Even when people know you're male, if you're playing a female avatar, they're still nicer to you. Which, in a way is nice to see. It's certainly better than the rape threats women receive in other games.
Also, with female character: I tend to find more attention goes into their armour and there are more varieties of armour. Yeah, you get the typical armours that are more revealing than the just wearing your underwear, but some of it is really fucking awesome and a bit more varied than what the guys are stuck with.
P.S. I'm on Guild Wars 2 A LOT these days so if you're up for playing at any time just let me know. Jump on steam and shoot me a message.
Flying Lotus. He's mainly instrumental but he has some awesome guest vocalists on. It's not trip hop, but it's electronica that's heavily infuenced by free jazz and trip hop. Here's a song with Thom Yorke on it:
I used to be like that too. I just chose who I thought was coolest. But when people start questioning your motives I guess it makes you think about that kind of stuff.
That sucks. I mean you do what you have to, but if I were you I'd be looking for work that you can live on but won't kill you. You can't do that every week for the rest of your life.
Good to see you back though, and I hope things improve for you.
Try flying lotus's cosmogrammar if you haven't already. I'm really surprised at how big the dudes getting given how weird and instrumental most of his stuff is.
