Well, I think it's an allegory for Japanese Imperialism the way the Fire Nation's reign in Avatar The Last Airbender was. It's just more subtle here. Really subtle.

I saw Oldboy on Netflix and it was one of the strangest, intense, disgusting, and impressive things I've watched. I am not liking this American trailer, to be honest. Makes it look too normal. I mean, I'm sure the very abnormal twist is still in there, but I am not a fan of the style it looks like the movie is taking on. 

Spike Lee is an interesting choice for director, but it looks pretty meh; something the original certainly was not. I will hold my judgment until it comes out, but I'm not expecting much.

Yeah, they've had hiccups that put them behind the competition, but it's getting to where Wii U sounds like a Virtual Boy kind of mistake.

I actually kind of like that polygonal look, for no other reason than nostalgia. But I agree about the toast thing, only I prefer sausage with my eggs. 

I don't think it would be for me. I have a hard time getting through LOTR honestly, though last time I picked up Fellowship again, it did seem a lot more fun to read than I remembered. I want to read the LOTR trilogy eventually, but it's just a lot. 

No horned owls? Damn. They did make an on-rails shooter Harry Potter though, right? I bet that has horned owls.
