Mario Galaxy and Mario Galaxy 2 are great games, though I'm partial to the first. You're going to have a great time with that.
I never saw the big deal about that book, but I'm beginning to feel the lure of it now. Might just have to order it.

my beard is getting pretty epic, but it's got problems: sometimes I get food stuck in it and don't notice for a while. ;)
I promised my mom I would shave for her birthday.
I don't think anybody will be resentful. I think the Pixlbit people are happy we are here. I didn't come over here until 1up's demise either, and as soon as I did everybody was very welcoming.
Yeah, I use IGN, but the community isn't really what I'm looking for. I forget who made the analogy first, but it's too much like a big city, whereas I like small towns.
I think that's one of their plans, to make that a little more obvious. Actually, once you start doing it, it is pretty easy.
to edit a comment, you just doubleclick on it. then the edit window comes up. I know -- it's kind of like an arcane secret. :)
My ghost writer has been doing a great job lately. I'm just been hanging out with models, drinking pepsi, and snorting Viagra while my ghost writer puts out a ton of new blogs. IT's been great!
yeah I mean the articles that were on 1up -- which were different from other sites -- are what got me into the site originally. And I know they put their hearts in them. But they diminished, while the community ascended. Few big sites had such a focus on classic games as 1up, and I miss that.
You're right about Pixlbit's content -- it's great, and I'm looking forward to more of it. But I will always be a community guy first. That's what really matters to me.
hey great blog, man. I too enjoyed Red Dead Redemption's landscapes, and lust after aching frontiers. Too bad there aren't that many left in the natural world anymore.
When I lost someone I loved a couple years ago I too journeyed into the world of games to lose myself. And then I found blogging. Now here I am. :)
thanks. I've been thinking about this a lot. I'm really trying to be more active.
Blogging once a month is a good start. Sometimes even that's pretty damn difficult.
yeah I am interested in this, but I don't know what games to play. If Dragon Quest X was out, like asrealasitgets suggests, I would be totally there.
I just might buy Bioshock. I didn't play the first two, but this one looks really exciting.
