Wait, your girlfriend? This the one from Gamestop? I think I missed a blog or two. Well, that's awesome, whoever it is. lol

I loved the improvements they made to 2 as well, but I got frustrated in the dark world too often when I rented it. I wish I had finished it.
I'm considering a credit union. Wonder how similar Target is with the check cashing.
I uh ... yeah, not a JRPG gamer. I like what Machocruz said about dark and adult being two different things. I just watched the season finale of Avatar: The Last Airbender Book 2 to follow along with Doug Walker's vlog series chronicling his experiences with it, and I think a lot of the messages in it are much more mature than many "adult" shows, in part due to their positivity, and desire to solve problems instead of giving into despair.
Where the fuck am I going with this?
What type laptop are you working with? Hotline Miami looks fun to me, but I'm just not sure how much of anything really my old XP-running Dell D620 can handle. Obviously nothing next-gen is going to happen, but maybe I can reactivate Steam and get a couple indies before this thing finally craps out.
Yeah, I bought Blooddrunk in 2008 when they were selling it in the lobby at Gigantour. I still really like a lot of the songs on it, but overall it was a bit dry.
So far, "Halo of Blood" reminds me of Hatebreeder, especially that intro, and that album design is just awesome, probably my favorite on a CoB album thus far. I have a Blooddrunk tee, but damn, that white snow design is just badass, I want a tee of it. "Screaming for Silence" has a great keyboard hook, and the ending solos so far have been awesome.
Sounds to me like they are back. I am very happy about this.
Varies.
I definitely started out easy as a kid, then worked up from there if it wasn't challenging enough; now I usually start normal, and get a feel for it there, then complete hard mode if I like the game enough.
Depending on the game though, some are boring outside hard mode, too frustrating outside easy mode, etc., it's a case-by-case basis thing. Games like Elite Beat Agents that are just addicting, I'll beat on the highest difficulty, others like Metal Gear Solid, I won't even touch the highest difficulty.
Never played it, but I do think I'd like HK-47.
They fail because they try the same things over and over again. Yup, pretty much.
Disney's Planes for me; and I wouldn't mind hearing your thoughts on Dynasty Warriors, but it's hard for me to have any really interesting feedback what with not owning any new consoles.
