I say go for it, i think the main thing people want to see is the best way to approach the game and the best royte to take.

Using the T/F-18A (note, no extra slugs or weapons and full internal fuel), 

lower your speed to around 300 KPH (approx.). Power should be at 82 to 85 to 

keep your plane aloft -- the airspeed will stay the same. Check the gear and 

hook and with "landing view" active, locate the single vertical green line to 

your right. Bank right, then line yourself up so the center of the airplane is 

centered to the line. Nevermind the landing light and other garbage. You're 

going to eyeball it. Keep the altimeter around 70 M or so (this is not the 

same number from the NES version of Top Gun, which assumes a glide down). 

This will help you land on a carrier hope it helps

The flight sim experience takes some practice after all it not simple to fly a million dollar jet fighter i actually dont have any problems taking off and landing although landing on a aircraft carrier is freaking hard as hell but keep in mind you dont have to land in the game you can skip landing and take offs entirely but like i said in my reveiw theres people who play sims then theres people who dont and pateince is a virtue in this game.

Actually im not a big Metal Gear fan but this one sounds cool mainly cause you used the word strategy lol!! You know what a strategy whore i am lol!!

No price isnt an issue actually i would rather have the original cause im a collector i had a freind that was selling his 3 in one but i think i will pass and get the original lol!! Thanks for helping me decide.

Its actually a flight sim and if you like flight sims check the bagain bin at Gamestop its $2.99 and worth it in this game you actually taxi to the runwsy and take off and they have carrier take offs as well this is a flight sim and the only one for the 360 yea il sturmovik is close but this game is cool.butdont get me wrong IL SSturmovik is a very good game and if you set the settings on realistic its a flight sim but Over G is a flat out flight sim after you land you literally have to taxi to your parking spot lol!!
